About Us
We’re on a mission to build profitable, sustainable and enduring fresh produce farming operations.
MAVRK Capital and our strategic partners leverage their combined expertise in finance, farming and marketing to acquire underperforming farms and processing facilities and build profitable, sustainable and resilient vertically integrated operations focused on table grapes, berries, citrus, avocados and melons.
Jack Campbell
As a grower, businessman, and technologist Jack built his career around the agricultural wealth found in the Central Valley of California. With close to 4 decades of experience, he has seen the ups and downs of farming and knows what it takes to succeed. Jack’s family farm began in 1975 with just 40 acres and now boasts over 15,000 acres owned/managed with $500M+ in yearly revenue.
Jack believes farms must work back from the retailer’s purchase order to develop sustainable, bio-diverse, technology-driven farming operations in order to flourish. This process is what drove him to work with a family office to create Delano Farms, which was exited with a positive return for investors.
Now, Jack has founded MAVRK Capital to do this again. Farming is at a crossroads. Times are challenging, but MAVRK Capital is primed to reshape farming. Gone are the days of fragmented farming, distribution, and retailer sectors. To succeed in this time of consolidation, farming operations must be fully integrated from the farm to the point of sale, and every step in between.
Building on a legacy grounded in agriculture: Devon and Jeremy Yurosek
MAVRK Capital’s model is rooted in partnerships with agriculture experts, creating exceptional value while simultaneously avoiding many of the pitfalls traditional private equity funds experience when investing in farming and agriculture.
The Yurosek family has farmed in California since 1981, expanding to become one of the leading growers of specialty citrus and tree nuts. Their family ventures have successfully founded and exited several business operations, including farming, agriculture services and hospitality.
Recognizing economic and environmental headwinds, the Yuroseks have pioneered innovative solutions to the challenge of creating value in farmland, not only through the cultivation of crops, but also through skilled management of water resources. With unparalleled knowledge in agriculture and deep specializations in almonds, pistachios and citrus, cherries and pomegranates, brothers Devon and Jeremy Yurosek co-founded Canopy Ag in 2016 with the vision to build the premier farm management operation in the San Joaquin Valley.
Combined with the Campbell family’s expertise in table grapes, marketing and sales, the partners behind MAVRK Capital are positioned to pioneer the next era of sustainable, resilient and profitable farming.
